About Us

What makes us a Collective?

We work together and co-create solutions for the benefit of our communities through meaningful collaborations and equitable engagements. We collaborate and communicate to catalyze systems change, facilitating hard conversations and designing for inclusion to move us forward together.

We are purpose-led activators who prioritize impact over intention and agency over apathy.

How?

Through collective action, mutualism, mission stewardship, and shared ownership. We share open source tools, knowledge, experiences, and resources for entrepreneurs and startups to build stronger foundations. We are passionate about building ethical, equitable processes. Our strategic plans, projects, data and metrics tie directly to our mission; achieving anything takes a village and don’t go it alone.

Why?

We want you to thrive for your first 5 years in business and beyond. Words have power. We know ESG, DEI, and CSR can be total B.S.

Beyond client services, Collective Consultants are creators, researchers and writers. We’re not workaholics but we love working on intractable problems. We talk about the social entrepreneurship, Future of Work, inclusive design, ethical tech, and building a Social and Solidarity Economy.

Who?

We support solopreneurs, micro-businesses (0 to 10 employees) and the clients we serve with the systems, skills, and services to thrive and make a social impact.

When?

We’re in this for the long haul. We work with clients and colleagues to ensure all employees get what they need to shine. As former educators and L&D (learning and development) practitioners, we teach our clients how to build projects and programs that are inclusive, accessible, and ownable, so they can use our methodology and pedagogy long after our engagement ends.

OUR VISION

What does The Future of Work look like for our Collective?

A worker-owned consulting coop, a publishing/creator collective, and a purpose-led Think Tank for the people.

Our Collective Consultants are shifting from management advisors to co-creators. Changing the business world requires us to change management, which is why we call ourselves Collective Consultants (not management consultants). We are not here to replicate the Big 3; we’re here to redesign the workplace. Through Brand Strategy, Content Design, Organizational Development, and Creative Operations we are designing workplaces that work for all of us.

coFLOWco partners and collaborators come from a broad range of industries with an impressive set of skills.

Creator Economy 🤝 Knowledge Economy.

If you are a founder, solopreneur, or leader who prioritizes "people and planet" over profit, you'll fit right in! We have big plans and are already putting the pieces together. The goal of our worker-owned coop and Think Tank to accelerate change and move us from purpose to policy and practice for systems change.

Our Purpose is Your Purpose

We started this Collective because, well, the White Supremacist Patriarchy isn’t going to fix itself; we want equality now, not in 200 some-odd years. By working together, we are already doing the work. Lifting each other up accelerates pay parity by closing wealth and wage gaps.

We support clients with strategic and creative operations services anchored in social impact. We start by defining your purpose and building your business on a foundation of accessible design, regenerative systems, and just economics. When we need experts in a specific area, we partner with the best to ensure we help you move the needle, whatever you social mission may be.

We honor your strengths and lead by example. We hire diverse talent because we aren’t limited by borders or location. We employ ABCD (asset-based community development) to work collaboratively based on strengths of each of us and the value we bring when we come together. Everyone has inherent value and we commit to honoring that value both with compensation and amplifying your brilliance.

We provide a mountain of information: road maps, advice, tools, guidance, pricing, positioning recommendations, resources, systems, skills, solutions and overarching strategies.

We help leaders and teams shift focus to what matters, allowing them to reach their optimal flow state and improve the world through their small but mighty organizations…even an a business of one.

Certifications, Memberships, and Affiliations

Since our founding, coFLOWco has explored certifications, memberships, and affiliations through an equity lens. Credentialing can have intended or unintended bias. Gatekeeping of tools and resources is antithetical to our mission. Most of the time these “badges” are inaccessible and costly. Without accountability they are often meaningless. That said, we support several organizations and there are many who support us back! We are a Women-Owned business through the SBA. Our members have additional certifications ensuring our Collective represents the communities we serve. Learn more here.
